Update since August 01, 2011
The second guitarist Alexander “Sweeper” Dunaev, one of the founders of Fangorn has decided to leave the band. All the same he keep playing with us on the live shows and helping us but he’s not an official member of band anymore. We’ve parted with him like friends without any problems and we are grateful to him for his part in band activity and for those years we’ve worked together. At the moment we’re searching for a new guitarist.

The recording of the album “Where The Tales Live On” is finally over. It just needs few finishing touches to prepare all the stuff for mixing and mastering in Finland. At the moment we are working on CD-cover and a booklet as well as planning to do a photo session and waiting for our trip to Finland which is taking place on the 25 th of July. The stuff will me mixed and mastered by sound producer Anssi Kippo at Astia Studio “A”. At the beginning of August we are going to receive our final master-CD from the studio. There were a guest musicians working on the album along with female voice that we used and violin, flutes and accordion. The album consists of approximately 10 songs and one bonus track.
Update since February 26, 2011
We’ve started to record our second album, which will be named, “Where The Tales Live On.” The album will be recorded at the Russian Studio “Sunrise” and then we’re planning to do mixing and mastering it in “Astia Studio “A” in Finland by Anssi Kippo. It’ll be a full, conceptual album with all new material completely developed by the band. Each song from the album tells a short fantasy story. In the album, we’re going to use live musical instruments, a lot of epic keyboards, clean vocals and chores. There will be also one song in Russian on the album, a funny dance song with a nice story about drinking mead and a surprise at the end. We expect that the mastering will be complete by August 2011.
